I H Jordan (Transport) Ltd is a privately owned haulage company founded in 1973, by husband and wife, Ian & Patsy Jordan.

Already an HGV driver, Ian had worked in Canada and the US, before returning to the UK where he was presented with the opportunity to purchase a vehicle unique at the time. This vehicle was one of the first in the UK to come equipped with a lorry mounted crane and grab system which revolutionised the delivery of bricks, blocks and other suitable materials such as roof tiles, bulk bags, paviors, as well as many more.

For over 40 years Jordan Transport has embraced the many refinements to the basic system, including ‘Drop & Go’ trailers, stand up controls, seat operation and the like. The company currently operates self propelled roll-loader & fixed mid-mount cranes and has diversified their use to include the collection and delivery of used artificial grass from sports facilities for re-use in agriculture!
